Genuine. Australian. Service. Since 2017.
It’s all we want to be, it’s all that we are and we’ve been doing it in varying capacities. We want Autohouse to be a part of this country’s automotive future and to do that, we fealt the was an opportunity for change in the service industry. To reinstall the traditional, genuine Australian values of trust, reliability, hardwork and mateship to an industry ripe with transparency issues. Those 4 values are important to us, it’s the foundation of who we are and we will tell you why.
Trust. Trust in the relationship of servicing your car is so important to us. You need to be able to trust our recommendations to keep the car getting from A-B, whether that be getting to work, running the kids to school, a big trip with the family out west or the trip down south to see the relatives. Trust in what we say, trust in our work, trust in the price, trust in getting home again; it’s always the most important part of Autohouse.
Reliability. The first thing to trust about Autohouse is the reliability of our work. To have a reliable car is to to have a safe care. It’s as simple as that. We feel strongly that our actions should speak louder than words which is the whole reason all of our work boasts a LIFETIME GUARENTEE on the labour, that it’s the actual work itself, our operators perform. That’s reliability to us.
Hardwork. The Australian spirit is hardwork. We are the type of operators you used to hear about. Genuine, hard working men and woman, strong ethics, committed till the jobs done, without the bs. The type of people you’d like to offer a glass of water to, or even a sneaky cold one from the fridge. What we aren’t is working to the clock to try and drag out the billed hours, monetising every interaction with you. Hardwork is important to us and we want you to be able to see that in our work.
Mateship. There isn’t anything more Australian to us than mateship. Every now and again, across all Australian trades you find people who you wouldn’t mind having a beer or wine with watching some footy. It’s important to us becuase we feel that if the Autohouse team are the type of people that you trust to complete reliable work, within the expected timeframe and do that speaking honestly, genuinely and with a smile, we’ve both honoured that unspoken Australian mateship code. And openly, thats all we could ask.

I’m Taylor, a Sunshine Coast born, down to earth late 20’s bloke with a passion for anything with a engine and wheels. Whilst my family and I, (wife, 2 kids and the dogs included), were born down here in SEQ, this passion has taken me all over Queensland from outback towns, farmyards and rural properties to the coast, islands, suburbia, the CBD and everywhere else. I’ve spent 8 plus years in the automotive industry working on nearly all makes and models, all types of vehicles and most things towed by them too.
After spending a number of years in every mechanical workshop you can imagine, the same problems kept arising. Whether it was customers not understanding what work was being performed on there vehicles due to people obviously making the information overly complex, to people being overcharged for products and sadly, services they just didn’t need with false over charges that left the mechanic owning the car. I come from a geniuine Aussie family, so I knew this wasn’t right. So, rather than being a part of this industry’s current problems aimed at making a quick buck, I wanted to be a part of its future. All I want to do is bring a trusted, reliable, high quality automotive service to my community, and in doing so take the stress away from the traditional mechanical workshop routine.
